EHA-Nashville Announces New, Renewed Artists

EHA-Nashville welcomes aboard several new artists and the re-signing/renewal of contracts with several existing artists.

Randy and Wendi Pierce of Tulsa, Oklahoma renewed and were added to the management/artist direction roster. The Pierce’s projects are produced by Jim Brady (Booth Brothers) and their recent, “Steps” (Gatlin Bros.) went out on Patterson Promotions Radio compilation this month. Randy and Wendi will be present this year at the Branson Gospel Music Revival and will be performing in an artist showcase. They will also have a booth at the NQC and will be performing in a regional showcase at the Louisville, KY venue in September. The Pierce’s will appear on the next EHA-Nashville promoters’ compilation disc to be released in three weeks.

Steve Doan, Mansion Entertainment/Cheyenne Records recording artist, from Cincinnati, OH signed an agreement with EHA and was the first artist to be signed to the Cheyenne (Christian Country) label. Steve has a successful graphics business, Inservice Solutions, and creates many of the artists’ banners seen in convention booths across the country. He has been singing and performing in his church for many years and is a member of Landmark Baptist in his hometown of Cincinnati, OH. Steve also has been in the Emergency Management profession and has provided services in his community and across the country in times of natural disasters and other calamities involving emergency assistance. His trademark energy and positive nature has gained him fans from across the country. He will be attending the Branson Gospel Music Revival that starts at the end of June this year and he is also slated to appear in a showcase at BGMR.

Tane’ Miller renews her contract this month with EHA, and she is an international, inspirational singer, songwriter, and speaker. Her latest project, produced by Nick Bruno, has been well-received in Ireland and across the UK. Tane’ is from Chapel Hill, TN, near Nashville and also performs regularly across the country.
Darrell & Tojuana of Moss Point, MS, recently signed a publicity contract with EHA. The duo recently had a single hit #1 on Southern Gospel Times chart and they are represented with radio through Patterson Promotions. They will also be present in industry conventions across the country such as the National Quartet Convention, and this weekend will be singing across the coastal counties of South Alabama.

Eyewitness, of Louisville, KY, recently renewed their contract with EHA. Wes, Steve, and John have a new project and it’s receiving good reviews from DJ’s and fans. They will perform in Fort Oglethorpe, GA at Rockpointe Church, Sunday, March 27 at 6:00 p.m. with Rhonda Mitchell-Frye hosting. Rhonda is also represented by EHA with her solo ministry. Eyewitness recently helped host a Carribean Cruise that featured Gospel recording artists from across the country. They were co-hosts of the First Annual Winter Gospel Music Fest in Louisville, KY with EHA-Nashville in February.

The Davis Family, Mansion Entertainment/Manor House recording artists, recently renewed their publicity contract with EHA. They hail from Washington, MO and have recently recorded a new project and DVD with Mansion Entertainment in Branson, MO. Rosemary Davis has also written an inspirational book about the history and journey of the family group. Rosemary and David have received positive response on the book and ministry as they take their program to a national level this year. Becky Short of the Davis Family won 2nd place in the 2010 His Choice Music Talent Search hosted by Johnathan Bond in Branson, MO.

Leipersfork Bluegrass, Homeland Entertainment Group recording artists, continues on the EHA roster. The successful IBMA Gospel Bluegrass group is based out of Columbia, TN, near Nashville. They recently recorded their freshman project with Homeland along with a new DVD. The group appears in festivals and concerts all across the country and has a contract with Six Flags to play their music in all affiliated parks. They will be doing a fundraiser for the city of Fairview, TN, April 10, to help raise money for the park.

Tank Tackett, with EHA, also remains on the roster as a soloist. Tank is known for his beloved tenor voice with groups such as the Statemen, The Classic 4, The Goffs, and more. He has been a wonderful asset as part of EHA with consultation and support. He and wife Liv, reside in Antioch, TN, (Nashville) and he is frequently featured in the Christ Church music program. He recently sang in Louisville, KY in an EHA/Eyewitness concert and quickly brought the crowd to their feet.

Bill Dykes is a soloist and successful business figure within the Gospel Music industry. EHA is delighted to have Bill as part of the roster. He is Executive Director of Mansion Entertainment’s Manor House label, as well as, Cheyenne, Impact, and Pathway Records under the Mansion umbrella. Bill has been the featured artist on Mike Huckabee’s speaking tour, has been CEO with Sky Angel, and has assisted churches finance their building projects for many years. He has traveled and recorded with the legendary Cathedrals, Rhythm Masters, Weatherfords, Goffs, and many more. He will be attending the Branson Gospel Music Revival this year and is looking forward to meeting and connecting with many artists and fans. Bill and Jae Dykes live in Cincinnati, OH, and he works from Mansion’s offices in Franklin, TN.

Rhonda Mitchell-Frye, of Fort Oglethorpe, GA is a soloist who stays busy on the go with her Associate position with Rockpointe Church in her town. Rhonda not only proves her gift with her latest project, but has reached quite an audience as a writer and editor. Formerly with SGNScoops, Rhonda continues to use her talents to help other groups reach their music ministry goals. This week, she hosts a concert at Rockpointe, featuring Eyewitness of Lousiville, KY. Her passion to reach out to youth keeps her very active in the church and community, as she strives to be a role-model to children with her positive support and direction. Rhonda attends NQC and other conventions to share her music.

Jericho, of St. Louis, MO continues on the EHA roster and recently hired Jordan Palmer to fill the tenor position. The quartet has garnered top Diamond Award nominations in the past two years and was signed on the Manor House/Mansion Entertainment roster. With several successful projects under their belt, the quartet feels the best is yet to come.

Eaglewood Ink, book publisher, of Valhermoso Springs, AL is represented by EHA and is headed up by Rhea Trosper, with several published books to her credit. Her material has been distributed through Books-A-Million, and her most recent is the life-story of Zeke Dawson, who played fiddle for Loretta Lynn, George Jones, and numerous country icons and most recently, Leipersfork Bluegrass. Rhea is married to Dr. Donald R. Trosper and both are fans of Southern Gospel and Bluegrass Gospel Music.

Ray Cooper, of Jonesborough, TN continues on with EHA and is assisting with the Kids on Tour concerts to benefit local charities and worthy causes in the community. Kids on Tour will perform at Lawrence Cove Baptist Church in Eva, AL, Wed., April 4 at 6:00 p.m. in a benefit with Stephanie Cherie Drinkard and mother, Evie Hawkins, to raise funds for the church fellowship hall building fund. Also appearing will be Ayla Dewald, Tamara Bonds, Kim Hagood, Bri Hunter, Cody Davis, and the Lawrence Cove Baptist Children’s Choir.

Also, Homeland Quartet has charted for the first time in the history of the quartet. Bill Traylor, Ben Speer, Mike Allen, and Joe Thrasher, make up the group and their single through Patterson Promotions has hit the Singing News chart in the Top 40 for May. Congratulations to all EHA artists.
