Georgia-based family group The English Family will be sponsoring an anniversary concert in celebration of the release of their debut Mansion Records album – Out of the Wilderness.

The event is being sponsored by Spradlen Promotions and will feature Southern Gospel trio Calvary’s Voice in addition to the English Family.  The event will take place next Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Lenox Ave Church of God in Jacksonville, Florida.  The concert will start promptly at 7:00 p.m.  There is a $5.00 donation at the door and a free will offering will be taken as well.

Phillip English of the English Family said, “We are so excited to be sharing this new music at our Anniversary concert.  People have been so supportive of our new music.  We know they are going to love it at this concert as well.”

This concert is also the first location that the group’s debut Mansion Records release Out of the Wilderness will be available.

More information on the concert can be found at the English Family’s website – http://www.englishfamilyonline.com .

The English Family’s debut single from Out of the Wilderness will be shipped to radio next month.  “Send Down Your Angels” – the single – was written by 15-year old Jacob English of the English Family.

Out of the Wilderness features that familiar Southern Gospel sound that the English Family is known for with a unique blues and soul twist – much in part to the increasing talent of Jacob English as a songwriter and vocalist.  Jacob wrote three of the album’s seven original songs.

The English Family recently reached a booking agreement with Thomas Spradlen and Spradlen Promotions.
